What It Means to Really Know Someone

I have always found that the people who know us best are the people we share things with. Meals, powerful experiences, laughs… ropes. That climbing brings people together so closely seems so at odds with how briefly we can enter one another’s circles, only to spin off, and travel the world, or start a family, or break from injury or whatever else.

In this blog post for Vertical Life, I tell a story about routines, camping, and what it means to really know someone.
